Discussions around mental health have held a sense of taboo over the past years. It's just recently that we've started to get over that hurdle, however children's mental health is still a mostly unspoken topic.

As parents, we do our best to take care of our little humans. Sometimes, we forget to take care of our own mental health, let alone our children's. The NHS has compiled a few tips on how to be more attentive to your child's mental health needs such as being there to listen, supporting them through difficult times, staying involved in their lives, encouraging their interests and so on.

Children's Mental Health week is all about supporting children and young people with their mental health and it aims to provide healthy development for them. They provide free resources that help wellbeing in children and young people. Their theme for this year is "Let's connect" which is about making meaningful connections. They're discussing that having healthy connections with friends, family or as a community is extremely important for a healthy mind. Read more below:

Talking is one simple way to help children develop well. That's why we created our eco-nappies with specific designs to inspire you to talk to your baby through change time. This can make a big difference in our babies’ lives in terms of their language development, imagination, and the bonding experience between parent and baby.

Children's Mental Health week is from 6th-12th of February. Let's make a difference
