Jo's story

So my name is Jo, I have 2 kids. A girl who turned 5, 2 weeks ago. And a little boy who is about to turn 10months - my lockdown baby! He was born April 15th in the first lockdown!

Since surviving lockdown 1 and 2 on mat leave, I have now had to go back to work for lockdown 3, as a teacher. My daughter is in year r and is attending school, and my little boy has started nursery surrounded by masked adults. My husband is a plumber so is also working.

It has been a tough 2021 so far. My first day back off mat leave, during a pandemic, leaving my small person for the first time, and my lovely Dad had a stroke. Luckily he is working hard in a rehab stroke unit at the moment but I have never know stress levels like the past 10 months!
