Our biggest donation yet to The Hygiene Bank

The Hygiene Bank is a grass roots charity, working within the community to provide essential personal care and household cleaning products to people who really need it, raising awareness of hygiene poverty and driving change. There are many ways you can support their work, such as gifting unused personal and household products (there are collection bins across the UK), buying from brands who donate to The Hygiene Bank, like Mum & You, monetary donation or volunteering. Head over to The Hygiene Bank's website for more details.

We've been working with our charity partners The Hygiene Bank from the very beginning as it was vital to us that giving back to mums and their families was at the core of everything we do. Which is why for every subscription you buy, we donate nappies, wipes and toiletries to @thehygienebank who distribute them to those who really need them.

We're super proud that in August we made our biggest donation yet - toiletries and a staggering 113,000 nappies - that's a lot of baby bottoms!

This huge drop took some careful planning with a lot of people involved at Mum & You, our supply partners and from The Hygiene Bank. We had a lorry and driver on stand by, a local farmer let us use his land for the drop and a group of amazing volunteers came and packed cars and mini vans with boxes ready to distribute to around 20 support groups who needed it most, including foodbanks, women's refugees, carers, vulnerable assistance network, nurseries and playgroups.

A special thank you to all our customers who help us continue supporting The Hygiene Bank through your subscription and to everyone who worked so hard to make this donation happen.
