Privacy policy

The provider collects, saves and processes data in connection with the brokerage, conclusion, fulfilment and cancellation of a purchase agreement based on the M&Y Terms and Conditions. This takes place in accordance with statutory requirements.

M&Y does not disclose any personal data relating to the customer to third parties, unless legally obliged to do so, the customer provides explicit prior consent, or if it is necessary in order to ensure proper fulfilment of the contract.

Storing Access Data In Server Log Files

You can visit our website without being required to provide personal information. In these cases we will merely record access data in so-called ser ver log files, including information on the name of the requested file, the date and time of access, the transmitted data volume and the provider submitting the enquiry. This data is analysed exclusively to ensure smooth operations of the page and to improve our ser vices. It does not disclose any information in respect to who you are.

Data Collection For Contractual Fulfilment And When Opening A Customer Account

We record personal data that you provide voluntarily, for instance when you place an order, make contact with us (e.g. using the contact form or by email) or when you open a customer account. The respective input forms state which data is recorded. We use the data you provide for the purpose of contractual fulfilment, to process your enquiries and possibly to make contact with you (e.g. in the form of our newsletter). The personal data will be deleted, corrected or blocked on request of the customer and in accordance with statutory requirements. This can be requested by notification to the contact options shown below.

Data Disclosure For Contractual Fulfilment

The terms set forth in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) will be adhered to in the event that a third party is used in connection with fulfilment. The data provided by the customer as part of the order will be used exclusively to make contact within the framework of contractual fulfilment, and only for the purpose for which the customer made the data available (e.g. fulfilment of payment). Data will only be disclosed to our ser vice provider in the ex tent that is necessary in each case.

The payment data will be transmitted to the payment ser vices provider commissioned with the fulfilment of payment. Please refer to our Terms and Conditions to find additional information on the payment ser vices provider we use.

Data Usage After Subscribing To Our E-mail Newsletter

When you subscribe to our newsletter, we use the necessary information you provide separately in order to send you our regular e-mail newsletter. You are entitled to unsubscribe to the newsletter at any time simply by sending a message to the contact options shown below or by clicking on the unsubscribe link in the newsletter.

Please be aware that we analyse user behaviour when sending our newsletter. For this purpose, the emails we send contain so-called Web Beacons, also known as tracking pixels. They are single-pixel image files that link to our website and enable us to analyse user behaviour. This takes place exclusively with your consent through collection of the access data described above in Section 2 and by Web Beacons that are assigned to your email address and associated with a dedicated ID.
