Being a parent of a toddler is challenging, but being a parent of a bored toddler is frightening. Ok, maybe that’s exaggerating a little bit, but there’s no denying that it’s hard. And now with most pre-schools and schools being closed for the next six weeks or so, we need to do everything we can to make sure those little humans are kept busy, entertained and happy. Luckily there are incredible women out there who are pros at coming up with and sharing fun, easy and crafty activities for kids of all ages. And they do it for free. So, let’s give them a follow…
The games that mum of two Daisy comes up with are genius. They take 5 minutes to set up and the games are super fun, often educational and most can be created with everyday items around the house. Check out her series of books too.
If you are looking for some crafty ideas this account is great and the creator, author and mum of three Mandisa even puts what age range the activity is for along with a difficulty level.
This account is fabulous for super fun sensory tub or basket play for toddler fun for little to no cost. The one that caught our eye is Bluey in ice, you will need to head over to Instagram to see what we’re talking about! 😊
The creator behind this beautifully curated grid is Susie Allison, who, according to her website, is an early childhood education advocate, former teacher and mum of three. Her account is fantastic to follow as she shares a variety of activities for children of all ages. Plus, they’re super easy to set up.
Susie provides advice and reviews on places to go out for you and your family. If you head over to her website, you can put your postcode in and it will show you the places, she has reviewed that are closest to you.
If you try any of these activities, we would love to see! Tag us on Instagram @mumandyou with #bymumsformums
